Third Budapest Conference on Space Law and Policy
The aim of the conference is to provide a high-level international forum for academics, policymakers, industry leaders, and representatives of international organizations to exchange ideas, share research findings, and discuss current challenges and opportunities in the evolving landscape of European space governance. The event seeks to foster dialogue between different sectors and disciplines, promoting a deeper understanding of how Europe can strengthen its position as a global space actor.
This year’s edition will place particular emphasis on the ways in which new European and national initiatives - such as emerging space strategies, regulatory frameworks, and investment programs - interact with broader technological, economic, and geopolitical developments. By examining these dynamics, the conference aims to shed light on how Europe’s strategic ambitions in outer space are being defined, negotiated, and implemented in an increasingly competitive and complex international environment.
