A key highlight of the session was the focus on transatlantic and international cooperation. Dr. Martin Zsarnóczky, representing the American-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce in New York, provided valuable insights into the expanding business opportunities between the United States and Hungary in the space and defense sectors.
Adding a strong global dimension, His Excellency Mr. Hong Kyu Dok, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Hungary, delivered a remarkable presentation on South Korea’s ambitious space strategy, outlining plans for future missions and international partnerships.
On the academic front, Péter Lévai showcased the growing relevance of space technology research in Hungary. His presentation featured ongoing collaborative projects with the Japanese Space Agency, reflecting the country’s increasing role in cutting-edge scientific exploration.
As the series continues to gain momentum, the organizers have announced that the next stops will focus on opportunities in the Middle East, India, and other emerging markets—further expanding Hungary’s strategic engagement in the global space ecosystem.
