At this interactive full-day event we want to raise once again awareness and discuss the current state of play, challenges and risks with regard to EU REACH and related environmental regulations with experts from competent authorities, agencies and industry (including SMEs). In addition, the revised EU political agenda after the 2024 European elections requires attention, as the new European Commission set out to put forward a new chemicals industry package, aiming to “simplify REACH” and provide clarity on “forever chemicals”, or PFAS, in order to boost competitiveness of the EU industry.
The aim of the event is to introduce participants to the space strategies and ambitions of the United States, Japan, and South Korea, and to create an opportunity for Hungarian enterprises to gain insight and build relationships before entering these markets.

Axiom Space to Hold Press Conference with Ax-4 Crew (Tibor Kapu, HUN) Ahead of Launch

Axiom Space invites members of the media to attend a virtual press conference with the crew of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station. The Ax-4 crew will share insights into their final preparations, mission goals, and outreach activities and research for their mission aboard the space station. The press conference will be held virtually from the crew’s quarantine location in Florida, as they prepare to launch no earlier than Sunday, June 8 at 9:11 a.m. ET.

SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, June 10 for Falcon 9’s launch of Axiom Space’s Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This is the first flight for the Dragon spacecraft supporting this mission. This will be the second flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched a Starlink mission.
The Workshop & Symposium is MVA’s major annual forum. It is devoted to discussions of different aspects of the exploration and utilization of the Moon, and is focused on the most recent progress achieved by the MVA in relation to its ongoing activities and future planning.
