The European Prize for Women Innovators is an initiative powered by European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the European Innovation Council (EIC) . It celebrates the outstanding achievements of women entrepreneurs from across the EU and Horizon Europe associated countries who are driving positive change for people and the planet through their innovative ventures.

In addition, the revised EU political agenda after the 2024 European elections requires attention, as the new European Commission set out to put forward a new chemicals industry package, aiming to “simplify REACH” and provide clarity on “forever chemicals”, or PFAS, in order to boost competitiveness of the EU industry.

Key themes include digital and deep-tech, clean and resource-efficient tech, and bio/med tech.

SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, June 10 for Falcon 9’s launch of Axiom Space’s Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This is the first flight for the Dragon spacecraft supporting this mission. This will be the second flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched a Starlink mission.

Axiom Space invites members of the media to attend a virtual press conference with the crew of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station. The Ax-4 crew will share insights into their final preparations, mission goals, and outreach activities and research for their mission aboard the space station. The press conference will be held virtually from the crew’s quarantine location in Florida, as they prepare to launch no earlier than Sunday, June 8 at 9:11 a.m. ET.
